View Account Insights on Instagram
Insights are only available on the Instagram mobile app.
Certain Messaging-related metrics, ad campaigns, and organic messaging features for businesses and ads delivered to and from Europe will be unavailable.
You can use Instagram insights to learn more about your account’s followers and performance. You can also view insights on your audience’s engagement with specific posts, stories and IGTV videos. If applicable, insights and metrics about your account include paid activity as well.
Before you begin:
- You need to have a business or creator account on Instagram to view insights.
View insights on Instagram
To view account insights:
- Go to your profile.
- Tap the Insights action button.
Tap the metrics under the Overview section or specific content you’ve shared for a more detailed breakdown.
You can also go to
in the upper right corner, and tap Insights.
Keep in mind that you'll only see insights for content you've posted since you converted to a business or creator account. You can also tap the drop-down at the top of the screen to choose if you want to view insights for 7 or 30 days.
