View Account Insights on Instagram
This feature is only available on the Instagram mobile app.
Certain Messaging-related metrics, ad campaigns, and organic messaging features for businesses and ads delivered to and from Europe and Japan will be unavailable.
You can use Instagram insights to learn more about your account’s followers and performance. You can also view insights on your audience’s engagement with specific posts, Stories, videos, Reels and Live videos. If applicable, insights and metrics about your account include paid activity as well.
Before you begin:
  1. You need to have a business or creator account on Instagram to view insights. Learn how to set up a business or creator account.
View insights on Instagram
To view account insights:
  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap the Insights action button.
    • You can also go to Menu in the upper right corner, and tap Insights.
  3. Tap the metrics under the Overview section or specific content you’ve shared for a more detailed breakdown.
Keep in mind that you'll only see insights for content you've posted since you converted to a business or creator account. You can also tap the drop-down at the top of the screen to choose if you want to view insights for your selected preset or custom timeframe within the past 90 days.
Note: Some insights metrics are estimated and in-development. The minimum follower count for Reels monetization will be determined by the terms of the relevant program instead of the in-development metrics.
