If you get a "Welcome to Instagram" email but didn't create an account

Likely reason for the email
If you recieved an email about a new Instagram account created with your email address but you haven't created an account, then it's likley that someone used your email by mistake when they created an account.
Request that your email be removed
If your email was used to create and Instagram account and you want it removed from that account, then you can let us know that it wasn't you that create the account
- Open the "Welcome to Instagram" email.
- At the bottom, click or tap Let us know.
- Fill out the form and submit.
