How do I use a screen reader for Instagram?

On an iOS device

To turn VoiceOver on or off on an iOS device:

  1. Go to your device's home screen and tap Settings.
  2. Tap General, then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap VoiceOver.
  4. Tap next to VoiceOver to turn it on or off.
On an Android device

To turn TalkBack on or off on an Android device:

  1. Go to your device's home screen and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap TalkBack.
  4. Tap next to Off to turn TalkBack on.
On an Apple computer

VoiceOver is Apple's built-in screen reader.

To turn VoiceOver on or off on your Apple computer:

  1. Go to System Preferences.
  2. Click Accessibility.
  3. Select VoiceOver from the left-side menu.
  4. Click to check the box next to Enable VoiceOver. You may need to confirm that you want to turn VoiceOver on.
