How Instagram determines the order of posts in your feed
Instagram's technology uses a variety of ways, or signals, to determine the order of posts in your feed. These signals are used to help determine how posts in your feed are ordered, and may include:
- Your activity: Posts you’ve liked, shared, saved or commented on
- Information about the post: How many people have liked it, commenting, sharing and saving a post
- Previous interactions with the person posting
- Your activity on your Threads profile
- Your favorites
